LADY MECHANTE is a rarity among the Ramble House books. It's a facsimile edition, meaning that we took a picture of every page of the 1906 original book and reproduced it faithfully for this edition. The original was a beautiful book, with flowery artwork (much of it by Burgess himself) on every page. The story itself is an enigma and unlike anything you'll read these days.
