NEVER LEAVE MY BED Joel Townsley Rogers In 1923 Joel Townsley Rogers wrote a long, atmospheric thriller called Once In a Red Moon. Then he settled into writing short stories and articles and became quite well known for them. It wasn’t until 1945 that he tried another novel and it, The Red Right Hand, has become a classic of the suspense genre. He followed it up with Lady With The Dice in 1946 and The Stopped Clock in 1953. Then in 1963 Beacon Signal published a much revised version of The Stopped Clock as Never Leave My Bed. For those who prefer the shorter, revised version, Ramble House is proud to offer both versions. 261 pages. $18 |
